Chapter 1: Read to Go
1. Jamie is team captain.
2. Brett is shy he is always quiet.
3. Jamie yelled out we got speed.
4. Jamie told them okay guys, they might be the bigger than us, but they can’t catch us. Let’s go show them what Comets are really made of.
5. Brett said he would block the net.
Chapter 2: Stop the Next One
1. Jamie told Brett to block the next one.
2. Jamie spun around in front of Brett and swung his stick at Brett’s leg pad.
3. It sounded like Thunder when Jami hit Brett’s leg pad.
4. Jill and Jamie have played hockey for two years.
5. Jamie on the first year played goalie.
Chapter 3: Off the Ice
1. The referee opened the booklets.
2. Rule #7 is that female players should only be allowed to play if there are no girl teams available.
3. She put her arms around her.
4. The referee says to Jamie that they can’t keep you away from the nets that long.
Chapter 4: Go In Goal
1. Brett couldn’t put weight on his left leg.
2. The coach said to Jamie that he needs her to be goalie.
3. Me, you are kidding… what about Carlos?
4. The put a bag of ice on his leg.
Chapter 5: Step Up
1. Jamie asked the coach, how are we going to score goals without me and Jill in forward.
2. The team needs to believe that they can win.
3. Jamie likes scoring goals.
4. Jamie likes to help her teammates.
5. Jamie said see you at practice.
Chapter 6: More Bad News
1. The coach had a surprise.
2. The prize was goalie equipment.
3. The equipment helped Jamie to move better.
4. The equipment also helped Jamie to block more shots.
5. Bill asked if she has practice to he can go see her practice.
Chapter 7: No Chance
1. Brett’s knee was sprained badly.
2. Brett will not play for two or three months.
3. Bill said it won’t be so bad.
4. Brett saw a newspaper saying they are losers.
5. Jamie said are you kidding me?
Chapter 8: Bad Attitude
1. Jamie was in a terrible mood.
2. The main characters are Bill, Coach, Jamie and Brett.
3. The Badgers took the lead.
4. Jamie yelled this stinks.
5. Jamie’s friends got to the house.
Chapter 9: A New Jamie?
1. Jamie’s friends said that she is the worst goalie.
2. Jamie responded by saying she didn’t play very good.
3. Bill said it’s your attitude that stinks.
4. They were arguing.
5. Bill said that I can’t wait to meet him.
Chapter 10: Captain
1. Jamie showed up with a smile.
2. They will start out with the forwards.
3. They will put the goalie mask on and practice goal keeping.
4. The score was 4-3.
5. Jamie said this is the best night.
Chapter 11: Like Old Times
1. The Comets got better.
2. Brett’s knee got healthy in January.
3. Jamie got their early.
4. Brett can now jump and be goalie.
5. The Comets reached the championship.
